War Machine, working on more parts now, pic way heavy :)

with good reference pics i bet you can make them look more accurate, its not impossible, maybe hard and time consuming, but you have demostrated you have a good hand for details in your threads, come on man get your motivation, lets get the brotherhood going once again @electraflier is way ahead :D
we need to catch up ;)
Your right we been slacking.. mostly me..lol

Ill jump back on the chest and back again since the silicone for my other parts its not here yet
i think the most time consuming part of all is that chest and abs

Looking great. .. Have you made you suit functional? Like tried it all at once? I haven't done it..I want to make sure it fits and works properly before I add the bondo. . Maybe I'm going at it the wrong way.. That why is taking me forever to finish.

Brackets sculpted
now ill mold them and hopefully cas a set today

Hey my brother in armor! Good to see you back on the build! I love the way Wondersquids armguns turn out! Man are they sharp! great work! how did you thicken the plastic up? Did you glass them or fill them with plastic?
Lastly, what are the brackets for? I have been looking at mine trying to figure out what Ive missed!
So glad your moving on again, I cant be the only pepakura War Machine out there.

theyre not filled with fiberglass or anything, i just used styrene lip all around with superglue, i think earlier i posted the pics, and then went with bondo on the seams, didnd wanted to fill them with resin because i already have 3 aaa batteries in each forearm, so didnt wanted more weight, plus the hands and repulsors will add more, the brackets are for holding the guns, i mean i attached them with 2 screws each, but in real life they would be attached by brackets holding them to the forearm
like here

Arm guns are llookin great. I thickened mine up too but I poured smooth cast 320 in them as we'll as the Gatling gun parts. It also made it easier to get rid of the seams cause there was plastic beneath them.

I used fiberglass and resin on the gatling
but i didnt wated extra weighton the hands, last year had a bad experience with a predator gauntlet

With leftovers of rebound 25 i made this quick molds of the brackets
still have to cast the bigger ones

Hey Made007, just a few questions for you if you don't mind. Who's files are you using to do all your pepping? I came across some and they look to be just as detailed as the ones you are using.

Did you have to make the gazspacho mount on the back piece or was that a file you pepped that from? I noticed you used some cardboard for that part.

I only skimmed through your thread, but didn't notice if you said where you got the parts for all the weapons from. I'd like to know especially if I need to start saving now to afford them. I saw you gave a nod to wondersquid, did he make them?

Did Stealth ever publish his tips for making the hands/fingers?

You're doing some great detailed work on your suit. I thought I was worried about attention to detail, but you put me to shame. And your hard work is surely noticed and appreciated by me. I'm definitely following now. I plan on starting this project after I finish the two I've got going now. I'm making an Iron Man Mk 3 for my daughter, and a 1987 Robocop suit for myself. But War Machine would be a great addition to hang out with my kid in.

there really was no trick, it was just a joke cause everyone said I built them so fast. I'm just motivated at times and don't stop until they're done.

I think you're confusing what Made is saying. There was no video on how to build the hands.

Sorry.
