Deadpool - 3D Print Files/Pattern - FREE

has anyone else had trouble printing the eyes? i can get them into cura just fine but cant seem to add support to it using mesh mixer or any other software for that matter... have yall been able to work around this at all? any insight would be awesome thanks in advance.

Well for $29.00 free shipping I gotta say this universal faceshell isn't bad and is a good alternative for those on a budget. Magnets have been glued to shell, now to do same to Ken's lenses.View attachment 628297

Hey that looks exactly what I'm doing:) Well what I'm doing now anyway, but really I love your mod of Ken's suit design. As a matter of fact I'm having a suit made by a certain zentai site;) And I actually ordered the same universal faceshell that you did last Thursday, how is it by the way? Anyway I can't wait to get my suit and I will post pics of when I receive it:)

I will post pics when the suit arrives, which should be sometime next week!

I know when mine arrived I found the red was too bright and had a hint of orange to it for some reason. I ended up dyeing the red portion of the suit with Dye Na Flow (Brick red), I used about 6 of the small jars because I didn't dilute the dye, and Dye Na Flow will dye spandex unlike RIT, you literally just take a regular paint brush and paint the red parts of the suit, wait 3 hours-ish then rinse till water runs clear then hand dry overnight. Here is a link to where I got my dye...http://www.dharmatrading.com/paints/dye-na-flow-fabric-paint.html As far as the faceshell, i wnet ahead and ordered an El Fett faceshell since mine didn't turn out perfect. Here is a pic of my mask to give you an idea as to how effective the dye was in changing the tone of the red to more match the right color.. I also made a back sword scabbard from EVA foam and thinner foam, then just Plasti Dip sprayed it.faceshellnew.jpgscabbard.jpg

I know this is stupid, but did you have to mod Kens mask file to fit the el fett shell?

No, El Fett's, along with pretty much any faceshell will fit fine with any hood usually, but sometimes zenati zentai messes up the measurements and makes the mask too small or large etc. they did with mine, first one was wayyyy too small so they sent me another one. I am just going to have to cut out and re sew bigger eye parts so I can see out of it since I wont need to use the white mesh on the spandex hood since the lenses on the faceshell have it.

Hey ken! Great job with the face shell! But I was looking through some ref pics and noticed that the sides on the eyes are a bit off the right shape and i think the cheekbones should be a tad bit more prominent :)

and also i couldn't help but feel like there's just something off with the eyebrows... i guess the corners are a bit too edgy?

So I was dumb and didn't check the height of the shell before printing and it's way too long for my face, but the sides fit tight. I'm worried about that what will happen when I scale down the model that it will become too tight on the sides...

Just had to do some heating of the sides above the ears to make it fit a little bit better.
kenlandrum would it be possible for you to do the back half of the shell as well? I believe it's almost a 3/4 shell in the movie, this one pic shows the side profile pretty well.

This thread is for anyone interested in putting together a Deadpool suit or display.
The pattern is a base and all of the leather, holsters, etc will be on top of it. Parts below are modeled for 3D printing.

Latest revision is only an adjustment to the mask color, it was slightly lighter than the body red and has now been fixed.
