I still hate you for this.

I know this is an old thread, but it's probably the most relevant. The thing that is so great about this lightsaber is that it is the weirdest, most complicated of all the ones from the original trilogy (Probably all the SW movies, honestly.) Luke's, Vader's - they are little changed from the original flash guns. But THIS... trying to make one from original parts, yeah I could see how that could take over a decade to do. Each component is incredibly rare and these days could be considered museum pieces.
It's truly a work of art.
