Hey Gwandlor and markseven , Im from germany too, currently building a Mk 39 Armor. Nice to see some people "closer" to me building the same things! :)

Very nice progress gwandlor, hope to see some progress soon! I have the same idea for building a mannequin, how much did it cost you over all? Its just PVC Tubes and duck tape right?

Also George , is there a Iron Man Thread you are not involved in? hahahaha, great to see you literally everywhere! :)

Everything looks great. Where did you get that faceplate module? Does it lift up the face plate and light it up?

Build a new Helmet, because the other one was to flexible. Build with 10 mm Foam. In German we say "Meisterstück" dont know in english the same. Masterpeace.
I Love my new Helmet it is the best peace if ever build until yet. 90% finish.12038239_901184286635449_3645630562870261372_n.jpg11060318_901184239968787_5879618116413560054_n.jpg12019898_901184273302117_7006432091602939904_n.jpg12065611_901184259968785_4381271475287849516_n.jpg12033205_901184223302122_8772329953858ewr719141_n.jpg12063666_901184313302113_7673590981658029191_n.jpg12027724_901184353302109_2666880236965258370_n.jpg12063584_901184333302111_8124934696551222243_n.jpg

Very nice progress buddy. Maybe some trimming around the edge of the Faceplate is needed though, to get the a smaller gap.

Because I just read it in this threah: PLEASE, dont buy these ridiculously overpriced Servo Mechanisms that you can find around the web. They are super easy to build and probably cost you less than 50 bucks.

If anybody is interested in building his own Servo mechanism check out this thread:

http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=170853

Also check out my Mk 2 Helmet build to see some pictures of how I built the Servo mech myself: http://www.therpf.com/showthread.php?t=242304

I hope this helps some of you guys to save some money. If you have questions, feel free to ask! :)

flexcoat is a coat, Flex bond can also useed as a Kind of glue. Think is the same if you use Wood glue as coat. but i decided to use plasti dip.
