What, no Despicable Me 2? That's one I'm quite looking forward to.
Shame we can't vote for more than 1, but out of those up there, I'd probably say, Kick Ass 2, with the next Hobbit film a close second. Mind you, there's still a few of 2012's movies I need to see.

Looks like I was first to vote for Man of Steel :) Although I almost chose Jurrasic Park 3D, not that I care about the 3D I just wanna see it in theaters :popcorn

i thought 2012 was a pretty weak year.....i found myself waiting for dvd more often then going to the theaters.....

it's a toss up between star trek and superman.....the first star trek was great.....im little worried about man of steel......superman returns was just an awful film......Bryan Singer is a horrible director when it comes to super hero films.....i really hope zack snyder can pull it off

I've gotta go for Jurassic Park 3D . JP was one of my fav films growing up, so to see it on the big screen again will be awesome....but in 3D...wow !!!!

I dunno. I think it was a pretty big year on a lot of different levels. Big on anticipation with Avengers, DKR, Hobbit, Skyfall, Prometheus, Hunger Games (whether they were good or not but I liked them all except the Hobbit & HG which I haven't seen yet) as well as some other great films like Looper, Iron Sky, Lincoln, etc.

Better than average crop I think for all sorts. I don't do the theatre thing too often but I did it a lot this year.

Gotta say 2012 was far better than 2013 is looking. Joe fan's get Retaliation but even I can't say for sure it'll be awesome.

Although the Conjuring sounds pretty good from what I've heard.

Out of the films listed in the poll, my list currently looks like this:

1. Riddick
2. Man of Steel
3. Thor: The Dark World
4. Iron Man 3
5. Pacific Rim
6. The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug
7. Sin City: A Dame to Kill For
8. Star Trek: Into Darkness
9. Elysium
10. Oblivion

I clicked Star Trek Into Darkness... had I thought a little harder and remembered Oz, I probably would've picked Oz.

Thor 2, The World's End, Iron Man 3 are all up there, too.

My choice would have been World War Z if the trailers were even close to the book.

I ended up going with Man Of Steel, because I am looking forward to seeing Supes on the big screen again.

I already know that I'm going to see quite a few of these movies on the list. However, I'm REALLY interested to see what Alfonso Cuaron does with Gravity. It has Sandra Bullock and George Clooney... in space... with Cuaron's directing and Emmanuel Lubezki on cinematography. Sounds awesome to me.
