Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I should also mention how refreshing that Colson got his balls back and started kicking ass. I'm sure it was calculated and I was so thrilled.

I was glad. They did not end with any obnoxious cliff hangers (my guess is because they filmed the episode before they knew they had a second season), but still managed to leave us with a couple of questions so that we eagerly await the return.

I am glad Agent Triplett seems like he'll become the team's new specialist. Decent actor, and he adds a different dynamic to the team than Ward did.

I was very glad to see them effectively end the Garrett storyline. I too admit to rolling my eyes and thinking "how predictable" when he climbed into that machine, but the following moment was just genius.

Already looking forward to Season 2!

Bringing Oswalt's character back as his twin brother was also an eye-roller, c'mon really?

As pointed out, I'm pretty certain that Oswalt is a Life Model Decoy (they're a mainstay of SHIELD in the comics and Fury has "died" more than once only to reveal that while his friends were up to their elbows in what they thought was his blood, it was just another LMD. (FWIW, my husband and I called that when he mentioned playing Call of Duty with his brothers).

Pretty awesome when he pulled the General's rib out and stabbed him with it.

Where is the Gravitonium now? Was than even Gravitonium or actually Graviton himself?

My first thought when I saw that scene was that the show runners were referencing the Terminator's first kill in the original movie when he punches one of the gang members so hard he rips right into him and lifts him up into the air. Bill Paxton did play one of the three gang members in that scene after all! What comes around goes around.

Call of Duty LAN party with a bunch of clones in a well-stocked safe-house ... I would never leave.

I guess I am losing my memory a bit as I get older--can someone remind me what Life Model Decoy actually is? Is it a robot or clone or what?

Wow! Great episode. A couple of notes:

- Eric Koenig mentioned to Coulson or the team prior to his death that he played Call of Duty a lot with his brother, Maybe / maybe not Billy is a LMD, but more likely he is simply a twin brother.

- the hieroglyphics that Coulson and Garrett wrote, I recall that it was previously seen in the episode "The Hub," where unnamed scientists were working on the same type of it on a wall-sized chalkboard in a room that Ward walked through. (The episode where Ward and Fitz infiltrated a facility to disable some device).

no that was in the episode called "Eye Spy". That's the episode when we first learn about the eye cams.

FYI Marvel just tweeted that there is a limited quantity of some of the 2013 NYCC exclusive items, included are the COULSON LIVES tee shirts that are very hard to find. These usually sell on Ebay for about $60. Get em before they're gone.

I just got to watch it on DVR tonight. Excellent finale! I loved Skye's conversation with Ward where she says May is p*ssed. Also the part with Garrett saying "Now I will be invinci..." splat! was great. I really hope Ward is gone for good. Usually this would be a case where they have some case that they need Ward to come back to help with. Then he gradually regains their trust. I REALLY hope he's locked up for good and no redemption!

Just got around to watching it. I was laughing for a few sections of it. Garrett's death had me rolling. and it was nice seeing Jackson for more than just 30 seconds.

Hey, don't worry guys, I'm sure Ward is still just in REALLY deep cover!!!!!

Great season finale, it was worth keeping up with the show, I just hope they don't start off with stinkers next season.
