The next limited runs will be based on a waitlist which will be started for those who don’t make this first run. Apologies to any misunderstanding re the interest thread…I did make a list of that but that was mainly to gauge interest. I will be consulting that list however if the first run falls short of 30. This will also be referred to as the September Run.

Armor will be cast in our new flexible fiberglass mix that we use for our V4 TFA armor kits but will be cast in black as well. This mix is much lighter than our V3 and earlier offerings and is a bit more rigid but still very flexible. We’ve designed it to be very easy to assemble. Armor will include all hard parts, including newly sculpted TK shoulders, biceps, shins, handplates, buckle greeblies and decorative straps.

FAQ

1. Will this armor fit me?

The armor is scaled to a regular Stormtrooper. Without mods, ideal height would be 5’8 to 6’0. Armor is made of flexible fiberglass and the abdominal section will fit a waistline range of 32” to 44” without mods. There is also a lot of allowance at the sides of the chest and back. Shins, biceps, forearms are scaled similarly to a classic Stormtrooper. All this being said, the armor can be easily modded to accommodate a very wide range of sizes, either by trimming or by adding shims.

1. Is this armor 501st approved?

First off, the 501st doesn't approve just the armor. Nor is any armor "501st approved" out of the box. You have to have all the elements of the whole costume, build and wear the costume to match the CRL and be approved as an individual. That being said, i made this armor to be approvable, mainly because I want to be approved wearing it. As of today, the CRL for the Shoretrooper hasn’t been released yet but I am following the formulation of the CRL draft very closely.

1. What is the lead time for orders?

Once your Run starts I will be contacting you to confirm and to ask for a 40% down payment to secure your spot and to get started on your kit. Casting the armor / helmet usually takes around a week or two. The soft parts take a bit longer at 2-3 weeks depending on volume. The sequence of casting is determined by the sequence of payments received. Meaning even if you are #30 on the list, but pay first, you’re allocated kit #1.

1. Where do I get the rest of the costume?

• Boots: Actual boots used are Orca Bay Chelsea boots in Sand (or Havana), depending on how strict the CRL will be, you’ll have to get these boots or maybe something similar looking will do.
• 4 cell Magazine pouch with oiler: Yugoslavian issue surplus M56 magazine pouches are available on ebay and online militaria shops
• Gloves: Available from Imperialboots.com or Endor Finders on fb
• Blaster: Standard e-11 will do. We will be releasing the double e-11 soon as well.
