Harry Potter free paper props - all movies and more!

My latest 2 additions to my collection via the book making machine at the library, Thanks again decat.

I had the books printed at 8"x5" I feel like they should be bigger, but this is a paperback edition so I'm happy with it especially, I've been wanting to print this out for years.

Hey is there any reason why I can't see some of the photos?

Many have asked, basically, one or more of the following happened:

1. The hosting service that was holding the pictures is no longer working (I've had my account at imageshack closed since I refuse to pay for it before)
2. The owner deleted the link and/or image
3. The owner has not fixed the link or re-posted the image
4. The owner is not aware that the photo link is bad.

It's a personal choice if someone wants to post something, no one is obligated, it is just appreciated.
However, It's sad that so many images have gone AWOL.

So, I'm hoping I'll have some time this weekend to get another book printed, I found a PDF Runes book online, freely posted, so I've done some small editing to the title page and some minor contents to make it a bit more HP.

It's a good base and has some nice illustrations, I think it will fit well as Ancient Runes Made Easy.

Monkey540, your books look great! It is great to see my books printed out! I wish my Library had a book making machine! I'm thinking of making my own version of a History of Magic.

Monkey540; hey your book replicas look brilliant. You already have a mini hogwarts library. I like them all :)

shmartybird; thanks a lot for sharing these sketches. I have never seen the hogwarts express one's before. I like them. The one from the leaky cauldron is also very good. I like the framed pictures from there. I was trying to capture some of them from hi-res photos :D hey, thank you again

Thank you again for the insides, much appreciated. Always interested in seeing new books.

It sure seems that way, I'm working on some more.

Speaking of which, here is one I put together yesterday. I took an existing Runes book that I found on the internet, and changed the Title page and a couple of insides to make it fit better in the HP universe. It came out pocket sized based on the PDF I used, but it's a very nice book:

IMG_0508_zpsubxg4ctb.jpg
IMG_0509_zpsttoqbj6s.jpg

Here's some pages:

So here is my current HP book replica library:

IMG_0514_zpslij7j0ao.jpg

All have insides except A Year with a Yeti, but it's just so great to look at.

And here are the files I used to make the Runes book for everyone else to make:

Enjoy, I'll have more coming to make use of the what I have. :)

looking good @Monkey540 next you'll have to do "charm your own cheese" lol
:D

If only I could find a book that makes sense, the thickness of the spine on that book doesn't make much sense considering the subject matter. I was just working on Hogwarts: A History then I just realized the author didn't include the last 4 chapters, :(

Anyone want to take a stab at writing them?

Edit: Looks like they only wrote 4 of the 9 chapters, sigh.

An amazing collection of books you created, I really like them very much!

Also, thanks for the pdf files!

You are welcome :)

I have a lot of stuff for history of magic, maybe I could do Hogwarts A History as well? I'd probably redo the whole thing though, and with two books you'd be unlikely to see the finished product for some time! I have a book called "The Book of Signs" by David Koch, this was the original source for the rune symbols used on many HP props- there are fonts made using the symbols in this book, which Mina Lima used on the props. Most of the symbols that appear on the props are actually Astrological and Alchemical symbols- which makes sense in a world of wizards! The book is only a thin paperback, but still I think it would make a good Ancient Runes book.

I've already done a lot of formatting work on Hogwarts a History, we should get together on this.

That Runes book sounds good, how small are we talking? Cause the one I used was 120+ pages, it's just the dimensions of the pages are very small.

BTW everyone, I think Charm you Own Cheese is actually going to be next as I have the textblock nearly finished.

The Runes book is 104 pages, but a larger page size than your rune book, more like your other books.

also, everyone here should check out this: http://www.amazon.com/Harry-Potter-The-Artifact-Vault/dp/0062474219

Ok, time for more books.

I did up the covers today and had them printed and bound, and they both turned out great on the first try.

Contents are from The Complete Book of Cheese, which I found freely shared online. This book was a beast to edit as it's huge, and the index is repetitive.

Content is from a Fanfic and I added various Cliparts and formatting. It's an amusing read:
