Upgraded Galaxy’s Edge Saber Box

I picked up an empty GE saber box from ZombieBait and had to give it an upgrade for my Darksaber from the Black Spire Outpost.

Amazing what a fresh coat of paint and a few painted stencils can do.

Looks great! what did you do for the insert that holds the hilt? I'd love to try this for some of my non GE sabers

I just bought some foam off Amazon and profile cut out the size of the saber then overlaid it with the cloth

I'd switch out the fabric inside to better display it. Black saber on black cloth. details get lost imo.
I think red fabric matching Moff Gideon's cape would look wizard, I got the idea from Malibu139 dark saber run.

Great idea - I don’t like the black on black, and was wondering about a color. I’ll look for a red satin this weekend. I also will be distressing the box a bit when I get the time.

I believe that is the non shiny side. mine is currently in storage otherwise id take a pic myself, but here are some stolen from other users in the Run thread that show it off. Also Malibu139 do you happen to have any more of the fabric?
