Recently me and a friend started building a Boba Fett helmet from scratch I'm now working on the Bondo stage and keep hitting a bump. The bondo seems to be hardening with little bubbles on surface and seems to true a spongy looking surface even after tons of sanding on top If that it keeps cracking on me! I'm new to prop and costume making does anyone have any advice? Am I not standing enough or mixing wrong?

How much hardener are you using?
Is you bondo still grey, pink or look like bean dip?
