K-9 (Doctor Who)

i am going to make a full size k-9 but want to know the best way to go about it i would like things like dimensions, referance pics any help is appreciated

While on this topic- does anyone know of a good method of replicating the K9 voice (like the type/frequency of the modulator used) etc?
