Ezra’s Chainmail aka Night Trooper Tags? Answer: NO

I am not sure how true this is but I read on Facebook that someone read somewhere (so I have know idea what the source is) that Ezra’s chainmail is made up of defeated Night Troopers (Thrawn’s Troopers) tags.

I am hoping this is true because I am assuming that these are the SWU version of dog tags and I always wanted to see some canon version of tags. If this is true, I hope we can get a detailed look of what these tags look like.

A little grim, though - it's a big switch from Ezra collecting Stormtrooper helmets (a piece of kit that can be relatively easily replaced) to taking ID tags, an item that clearly and explicitly represents one specific person. Not to mention the whole "what, did Stormtroopers have ID tags the whole time?" question that it raises.

If they did, I don't think there is any thing out there that it conflicts with. It's not like we had a lot of Imperial Trooper shower or shirtless volleyball scenes. just because you never seen one doesn't mean they don't exist. I've never seen a stormtrooper butthole but I am pretty sure they have them.

IIRC Clone troopers had tags in the RC books.

I've never seen a stormtrooper butthole but I am pretty sure they have them.

Stormtrooper shower scenes tend to be part of very... er, specialised stories.
