Well it has certainly been a good spring for rare frames! The Tod's TO199 arrived, looks like 18v colorway. I can see why we had such a hard time deciding which color the arms were, since the weave is actually 3 different color strands. Very pleased to get these with the case, bag, and cloth for $80!

And I decided to get the Palomo Irene before The Sympathizer releases, to get ahead of the crowd. Bought direct from the company for 40 euros, with international shipping another 39. Maybe if more of you want one you might consider a group purchase and ship to 1 person in the US, that would probably cut the per frame cost a bunch. Came with nice packaging for the price, the large case doubles as a bag with strap. I've seen this before but only on very pricey fashion frames. The frames feel kind of safety glasses-like. There's enough room for a slightly bigger than average head I think. I will have to adjust them tighter for me. The feel is plasticky if you know what I mean, but no real complaints considering the price point.

I don't have the soloist 4 unfortunately to enhance the outfit.
There have been a few items online but I'm not prepared to meet the asking prices that seem to be the norm for those frames - oh well, never mind lol

Picked up the Carrera Winner 2 this week. I've liked them ever since UV shared images way back.

They had proved quite illusive but I found them in the UK which was a bonus.

Good luck with the trade. That seems to be the most common color that's been for sale lately. I've seen movie accurate ones go anywhere from $65 to $1300.

Got some Initium Nighttown, wrong color but at $20 I can't complain!

Somehow I thought they were acetate but they are matte silver metal with a blueish grey lens. Like the Soloist tint but darker. 3 barrel spring hinges. Unsure of the alloy but it is non-magnetic.

OT, but I have been seeking these for a couple years... the correct colorway Thierry Lasry Bowery from The Man From Uncle. While some models of Thierry Lasry show up frequently, the Bowery seems pretty rare for some reason. This is first in the right color I've seen out of perhaps 3 or 4 the whole time. They still make them, but not in this color.

French-made with Italian acetate, the lens echoes the gradient of the frame front. It's a nice medium to light gray tint, I wouldn't wear it all day indoors but you wouldn't be blind either.
