Does anyone have any information of the parts used in this table/platform that projects the vader hologram on the AT-AT? I have a glowforge to make the accurate vader hologram however nothing to use as a reference for scale. I plan on building the entire table, installing the lights and the hologram. Any information would help,
Thank you so much.

Awesome! I thought it was strange how they cut the (what looks like aluminum mesh) on the base. It expands beyond the printer part.
Thank you!

I swear I thought someone had ID'd this?? I don't think it's a paper tray, though I see the resemblance. It's pretty small, maybe 8-10" across at a glance. Also we weren't all throwing away printers back in 1980 the way we do today! I'd lean toward some piece of photography equipment? I know that film cartridges (?) sometimes were odd boxy things. Not much to go on, I know, but thought I'd mention it.

I agree, it does look like it's sitting on an aluminum mesh that they've cut to round the two sides.

The base looks a lot like an old (polaroid) passport camera. Some of them were split by four like that to take 4 passport size shots at once (four lenses on the front as well).

Here's an example what they generally look like:

Not sure if there were models that shoot as big as 8x10 though ... more likely they were 4x6

Found it:

Not sure on size/scale

Was looking for the prop and couldn’t find it so I did my best to 3d model one.
