Your Pulse Rifle collection Pictures

Depends there are a few Hcg pulse rifles on Ebay .
Mine was made custom for me . You may not be able to get a pulse rifle into the Uk unless its shipped in pieces Even then who knows . The Hcg is nice it has killer aluminum shrouds and is heavy! But in the end suffered from very cheap materials and substandard overseas labor. A nice custom or Hcg will be around 800-900 . Then you go all steel and the prices go from 2,500.00 to 6,500.00

Main weapon: M1A1 Thompson
Grenade Launcher: Remington 870 (cut down so it only holds 3 rounds) inside the 'cage' of a Franchi SPAS 12.

Spat cave sells the cheapest kit :)

I never get how the hell they can put 90ish cartridges inside !

Built by the same firearms manufacturer that decades ago made the six-shooters that a pioneer woman could shoot 25 times without reloading ... into the air ... and hitting 25 badguys ... without messing up her hair.

Do you mind if I ask what it's gonna run you? The pulse rifle is my grail and what got me into props. If I was willing to settle, I'd get one of spaz's but I want a top notch one.

To think I almost paid for a GEM reproductions one, thankfully I didn't.

I'm pretty sure you'll get better customer care if you refrain from calling him SPAZ! It's SPAT, with a T. ;)

I honestly don't know personally but think they just sell a resin kit
for it thats about as basic as they get . Do yourself justice like I did if the prop is your holy grail save up at least 7-800 so you can get a Matsuo or HCG
they are the best pulse rifles before you get into the real steel stuff. Matthew or aka matsuo Does make resin and steel or a mixes of resin and steel rifles .

I typed that message on my iPhone so it autocorrected spat to spaz without me noticing :p

I'll probably do that. I want a top notch pulse rifle. One say i'd like to own a hero real steel PR but that's many years and many rolls of money away.

I posted this stuff in the Junkyard, but I wanted to contribute to this awesome thread.

So I bought myself a SPAT Pulse Rifle. And the cast was SO clean. It was the best resin piece I've ever bought (admittedly, I don't own anything Matsuo's done. He should probably cast a couple of Equilibrium 9mm for me someday :) ). And I knew it would come out great, as long as I could keep a handle on the paint.

But I saw the whole endeavor where people were taking HCG rifles apart for their shrouds...and I got a few pieces from Matt - the HCG GRENADE LAUNCHER COMPONENT - with REAL PUMP ACTION - as well as the METAL THOMPSON BARREL, and the really awesome STOCK. I then incorporated these parts into my SPAT build.

And they said it couldn't be done...

And admittedly...once I saw what I was dealing with - I wasn't so sure it could be done either. But...

I roughed the holes for the BARREL and GRENADE LAUNCHER on a bench grinder, then glued the two halves together and did the subtle work with a Dremel.

Note how thin the SHROUD WALLS had to be to receive the GRENADE LAUNCHER.

My repainted (base coat) GRENADE LAUNCHER installed:

There are a few little things left to do (all of the screws and hardware were ground off/out and replaced with the real thing, and a few are missing...and there are a couple things that need to be painted), but here is the finished product:

So there you go - this is a SPAT PULSE RIFLE with some HCG stuff attached, and my not-so-wondrous paint job. These kits can look great.

If I ever get the chance to do another, I might go airsoft. There is a nice licensed electric Thompson available for $130.00, and a licensed FRANCHI for $30.00. I've got an airsoft Remington sitting around here somewhere, so it would be about getting shrouds and other assemblies from MATSUO or SD STUDIOS (who was also helpful and insanely knowledgeable with regard to the rifle), and putting together a variation on a functional rifle.

But for now...I'm okay.

Whaddya' think, sirs?
