    Saw this pillow at Target for $20 an immediately thought of this project...

    That's quite a beast of a pillow! Fur looks like it could be used on the book in some way.

    Wow, why am I just now stumbling upon this project?? Jeez I need to visit the site more often!

    I can't see any of your pics for some reason Hotshot....

    Absolutely love this prop. I have spent quite a bit of time and money gathering info on these books, mainly Harry's, but of course the same techniques would work on a derivative.

    You do know that the "hair" on the books was actually flocking right?

    EDIT: Ahhh just caught the post that Talon did regarding these, hehe. He beat me to it about the flocking.

    I do have all of the PMS colors for the hero version if you plan on doing one in that vein, just let me know!
