Haven't done any props for a while and I'm not the most talented but am looking for a project, so what should I make/build? I like the idea of 80's retro space films. Someone give a suggestion and I'll try to make it. When I'm finished I'll post pics and someone can suggest the nxt one? :-)

how about a space herpy from Ice Pirates. or you could go with a battle robot from the same movie.
Picking something that has significance to you should be your first move.
Something that just pushes your buttons, could be anything, once you make a chioce, do some homework on if its been done before and take it from there. Making stuff for other people is only worthwhile if you plan to sell it to them.
Once you have an idea, you can put it out there and sometimes some magic can happen, eg, the Nostromo self destruct thread, saw a bit of hose that reminded me of something, put it out there and now after some help from a few generous pro active members, there is an exact replica of the instructions available to all.
If none of that resonates, i`ll vote for a VK Machine.
I was actually thinking of a VK machine! :-) project chosen!
