I have been experimenting with getting a good amber color for the goldeneye diamond, but since i am very colorblind i am finding it very hard.
so what colors is what ratio do i use to make amber colored resin?

the only color i know of is actually amber. i picked some up for some castings i had to do earlier in the year. theres a few diff brands of it, but its out there.
im not sure of a mixture color to get it though... maybe 3 yellow to 1 drop of red?

Be careful with red. It's really easy to use too much, even with one drop. Your castings will come out orange-y.
Try putting the drop of red on something else and then shaking it over your mixing cup.
I would think a mix of yellow and orange, but more on the yellow side.
If you can't find orange, do a 1:1 or 2:1 of yellow:red and then to that mix, add more yellow to make it amber.

Hi.Marc,
Try www.rbcepoxy.com They make colorred epoxy for jewelry. I'm colorblind also and they have been great about working with me. tell them you want clear amber for casting. They have done small batches for me in the past.
