Hey guys. I was wondering who would be interested in upgrading their co Tennant or Eccleston sonic screwdrivers with some metal parts.
These would be based off of the real prop not the CO toy and would need some creative rejiggering to make work together.

I can definitely say I would. I would be most interested in the head, perhaps with a solid acrylic rod with a hole in it for the wiring so you could pull the wiring from your CO and reinstall it.
Maybe an accurate head design but scaled ever so slightly to fit into the existing CO handle?
I tried removing the painted silver top and tail of my handle to see about replacing with machined aluminium parts but that baby is glued pretty damn good and damage to the handle looks kind of inevitable. So the head looks like the best bit to just replace.
Mind you if someone such as yourself could do a run of 1:1 SA heads I could machine a fitting handle myself so I'd still buy one.
Sounds like an A1 idea!
I would be in for metal upgrades to my CO sonic as well.
