    Jun 4, 2012 - What are the different B-9 names #1

I know that the robot goes by B-9 but I know there are other names it goes by, I was wondering if someone could fill me in on them I think one is YM-3, maybe?

I think in the show it was just called "Robot" or "Environmental Control Robot." it may have also had another designation ("M-1 class" or something like that, but I forget.

Blinky, the name used by it's creator, Robert Kino****a.

Never in the show was he called anything but Robot.

In one episode it is stated he is Robot Model B9.

In another episode it is mentioned he is a YM Class robot.

In yet another he is shown in his original crate. It is labeled. G.U.N.T.H.E.R.

Had there been a fourth season it is said that Irwin Allen was going to give him that name.

so the YM-3 is probably right, but I could've sworn he had another name, and not robby
(Hopefully I wont get C&S letter cause I said robby, Opps I said it again )

YM-3 was a derivative name invented by a Japaneese toy company to name him. Hence all the toys with that name. By no means canon. Probably not a happy point with the Licensor, Space Productions.
