Got home last night after our company Christmas dinner to find an email from MR saying it was being shipped. I checked the DHL website and it's scheduled for Tuesday, Dec. 19.

So I guess you're not a fan of the MR blaster, eh?

Bovine comments from the peanut gallery aside, congratulations! I'm curious to hear from others who have ordered the EE and see what kind of serial numbers people end up with.

    Cheers,

I'm looking forward to seeing photos of the actual product in it's native environment, and not just the pre-sale studio shots.

Unless someone else beats me to it, I'll post pics after I receive it.

Barry from MR had posted some great pics here of one he had...

I just noticed some pics over at RebelScum. I don't know if it's the pristine condition, the fact that there's nothing in the photos I saw to give it any scale or a combination of both, but it looks like something out of the MR mini line to me!

Still, though, it's my second favorite blaster from the hexalogy, and I might pick one up one of these days.

I'm still toying with the idea of weathering mine when I get it or leaving it pristine. I'm not buying it as an investment, but I'd hate to beat it up when it looks so nice anc clean. I'm still thinking about selling my LE MR Solo since I don't really need two....

    No weathering? Very odd.

Hey, put an imperial disk on the left side and you've got the "as built" version!

Man they did a super job on these blasters!!! I just don't know if I could bring myself to weather an MR though. While I don't buy to invest either, I just don't want to ruin any potential value it could sustain or increase in........

I actually thought about doing just that very thing if I could find a disk! Maybe just apply it with double stick tape so as not to have it permanently attached.

they did an obi AFBB saber...

why cant they make this the AFBB EE then make a as seen in the frickin movie version?

that way you could have an ACCURATE piece AND not have to devalue it to get it that way!

as always still a HUGE MR supporter... but this one just confuses me... it almost looks like a toy.

cant wait to see what some people here do... cause i know its gonna bug several of you untill you do! :P

My hand should be a decent indication of scale. There are a few other toys on the table you may recognize.

Mine showed up about 2 hours ago. Got out my original MR to compare. I like the new EE edition much more. Crisper details, more heft than the original. Sorry, no comparison pics(I'm a total idiot with a camera). All in all, I'm glad I bought it. I was a little sceptical having purchased the first MR Solo blaster, but it corrected a lot of the faults I disliked about the original.

I don't like it at all. The pristine version looks artificial. It's the Britney Spears of the prop world. This prop must be weathered. It must look authentic and beat up. MR did a good job. Too good. The soul is gone. I'm no fan of this blaster. I'm a big fan of MR in general though. So please don't come with the usual MR bashing innuendo.

Wow, Mr. Bigshot. Who do you think you are? You think I'm worth less because I have a low post count? I'm worth less because I registered 4 years after you? You don't know me, you have no idea. I don't know you and I'm sure as hell don't want to know you either. Climb down from your high horse Mr. I am better than you. Perhaps you need to get laid?

Seriously. Get.Off.My.Back. If I think this blaster is an attempt to milk money from the collectors I'm perfectly allowed to say that. My opinion is my opinion. You don't have to agree. But there is no need to try to make it look like I'm worth less just because of my opinion. Go away.

Chill out, PropMeUp. Your cartoon was insulting to me as the thread starter, since you evidently think I made a stupid purchase. You don't like the blaster? Good for you. I don't care, but don't come in to my thread and insult me. Saying "It's nice but I'd only get it if it were weathered" would have been received better.
