Hey all, been a while since I've posted any WIP threads, since I normally finish a project before I remember to do so, luckily this time I remembered before it was done, and I've been making an effort to get more photos of the progress.
Anyway, here are a few pictures of my Uncharted 3 holster thus far:

I couldnt find anything as close as I had hoped for some of the buckles, so I found something close enough and went at it with a dremel.

Started cutting it out in leather today.

I'll be making the bandolier when I can afford some more leather.
As soon as I have a chance I'll scan in the patterns and make some illustrator templates of them for those who are interested in making their own.

Hey Mechatronjon,
I do! Sorry I'm not the best with the updates, been very busy recently with uni.
I've finished the holster and a bandoleer, the bandoleer was a bit of a rush job and I only had 5.56 rounds to mould and cold cast, I'd like to try one with 7.62 rounds.
I still haven't done the middle detail on the back of the holster either, but I'm having that modeled and 3D printing as we speak, as well as more detailed smaller details.
I'll get some more pictures when I finally get it out of the car, been a bit lazy since the con i wore it to.
I will also get onto the illustrator files as soon as I can.

Now for pretty pictures!

Are those flower conches off the shelf or did you make them yourself? If you made them yourself, do you have any information on how you did it? I'm just about done with my U2 holster and I'm thinking of working on a U3 holster at some point. Thanks in advance!

I made them myself, sculpted one, made a mould, then got a flat screw on detail and embedded it into the cast so they screw on and off.
I have the moulds and would gladly send you a few but I'm moving to the UK in 5 days and the moulds are already packed into storage.

Wow thanks for the offer. I'll probably be taking a break from holster making for a bit before I start on another one. I need to do more research before I really start anyways. I'll get in touch if I decide to start that one and maybe we can work something out. Good luck with your move! Thanks for the response.
