Aug 7, 2012 - Toronto Prop Builders- team project? #1

    Hey all!
I think the Toronto prop building scene has a lot of very talented members.
That being said I think we need to represent for our city and try and come up with a really cool group project.
(Fallout 3 Enclave Power Armor? )
Anyone in the GTA looking to do some group work?
I'm an industrial designer and I'm pretty good with multimedia sculpting.. but I'd love to get more casting experience, as well as Arduino and electrical/animatronics stuff.
If you want to pool our talents and build something bad ass (maybe use it as an entry to the professional prop business)

Ugh I feel like I'm writing a personal ad.. I'm 27 and I'm in the west end.

    Holla!

There's a good community here and it's growing. Not into videogame stuff but if there's a good sci-fi project I'd be happy to work on it.

    Me too.
I'd also like to experiment with some molds and castings.
I'm more into scifi blasters and miscellaneous gadgetry.
I'm trying to improve my spray painting skills.

I've got a ST 3 Phaser I'm working on as well as a ST ENT EM-33 phaser.

I'm in the westend of Toronto as well.

I've been itching to start work on a full scale speeder bike. Don't know if that floats anyone else's boat. I want to build it so that it can be mounted on wheels an motorized (slow, like a motorized wheelchair).

I would be possibly interested in helping out.
As well as having a number of different connections,I took mould making at OCAD as well worked at and eventually managed a rapid prototype shop.
I have made a number of different type costumes, and made a few blasters as well.

That Gundam head is not mine. It belongs to RPF member TMBountyhunter.
His name is Ivan and he is extremely talented. He made these too.

Hey Scott, that little 'bin' droid you made was awesome. How about a run of those?

Probably start in the next couple weeks once Gil arrives. I've got to give my garage a good tidy before I start a new project.

Ok fine.. Scott was telling me he made it from 2 plastic 'bins' attached together. That's why I made that referrence. Confiscate what you will.
    I have nothing.
