I just finished my weapons cache for my 1967 Chevy Impala. This thing looks sick! It has taken me a LONG time to track down some of the show's harder to find props, but I must say it's been worth it!
My Impala is being painted today and it will be completely finished and assembled in two weeks. (complete with tan interior, Cragar 330 Super Spoke wheels, weapons cache, and a little army man stuck in the ash tray!)
I'll take pic's once everything is put together! Heads up for anyone going to Nashcon this year (Febuary 4-5)! I will be bringing freakin Metallicar!!!
Sounds awsome mpick67. Is she going to have spotties like in the early KAZ days or are you going for the CNK look with your build? Since you're going to an extremely high standard did you also ram lego bricks into the air con too? Sound to be a very exciting couple of weeks.
No, I'm not putting spotlights on it mostly because they are no longer used on the show's current Impalas. I'm going for a CNK look. I won't be putting legos down the air conditioner, mostly because I think the sound would drive me crazy! lolSupernaturalFan said:

She looks unreal mate! Great job on the weapons cache too. It's damn near identicle to the screen used impala can't wait to see her bolted up and tearing up some gravel.
Damn she looks amazing. I cant wait to finally get my Impala to that stage. All I need is paint this spring, the proper rims, and then I'm all set.
Oh and not sure if anyone here is interested, but I managed to identify Dean's black Carhartt shirt that he wears in Season 1. If anyone has already identified it than I suppose this post is kind of pointless haha

K so the shirt. I've seen most people labeling this shirt as the S96/S296, but a look at both shirts show that they clearly aren't the same, the S96/S296 have snap buttons, if you look at Deans shirt, there are no snaps on the shirt, just the holes where the regular buttons go.
Deans shirt is the Carhartt s97 in black. Its a very hard to find Carhartt and when you do find it, its usually in denim, or a beige color, even harder to come by in black. I found one for sale online and asked the guy the style number and he told me. It was way too big for me so I didnt buy it but at least now we all know the proper shirt.

Im not sure if anyone else noticed but I just realized today that Dean's been wearing a different watch since Season 6. It looks like now he's wearing a Suunto Core instead of the Advizor.

Yeah they definitely have expensive taste in watches. I didn't know Dean wore a Ram watch? Do you have any screencaps of it? The only ones I was aware of were his 2 Smith & Wesson watches from Season 1, the MTM Patriot, the Suunto Advizor, and now the Core.kysupernatural said:

I was curious if anyone could help me identify a jacket that Dean wears. I was just watching Season 6 Episode 9, is the jacket with two pockets on each side. I have a type of jacket close to that I picked up at Target a few years back, but his looks like it might be made from canvas or a heavier linen.
He wore two different jackets in that episode. These two. They're both GAP jackets and both are very rare. The one on the right is nearly impossible to find, and the one on the left I've only seen pop up twice on eBay.FrogmanStudio said:

Thanks man, yeah they're ridiculously hard to come by, I just happened to get extremely lucky. I've been looking for the one on the left for a while, I bid on one a few months ago but got outbid on it, and just last week actually I saw one on eBay but it was a size Large so it'd be too big for me.
