I'm currently working on a Subject Delta from Bioshock 2, and I am having some difficulty with lift.
I have plenty, and I mean plenty, of wood lying around so I would like to know if there was some sort of frame/shape anyone has that would help me make a wooden frame for my shoes so I can walk around in them.
I'm currently 5'5'', weight is 240lb, which is also why I would rather use wood, because I fear foam would not withstand my Earth shattering girth.
I already have the rest of the costume figured out [helmet is already made by the base, burlap, EL wire, ect.], but I am stuck on how to get myself taller. The original plan was to but some Drywall stilts, but as mentioned before, my girth is Earth shattering, so I am too heavy to safely use the stilts.
The convention I plan to attend is in June, so I've got plenty of time, but I'd like to get the shoes done at the same time as the helmet, which we're starting on as soon as it dries up a bit.
