    Nov 23, 2009 - Some new and old props to share #1
    [FONT=Arial]I took some pics of some new props and thought I'd share with you.[/FONT]

    [FONT=Arial]First up is my new TOS Phaser. It is the water gun from Star Trek, The Experience. Not bad for a $12 phaser. I ended up replacing the emitter tip with an acrylic one, buffed up the paint in a few places, and removed that wonky trigger so it looked a little better. I might do some more later, but here it is today.[/FONT]

    [FONT=Arial]This is my AA/DST Wrath of Kahn phaser that I redid. I didn't end up tricking it out all the way, but probably will eventually. I mainly just filled the screw plugs on the side and did a repaint of the correct color. What a sweet phaser they made!!![/FONT]

    [FONT=Arial]Next up are my STXI Badges from the Best Buy DVD set. I ended up buying a cheap black frame and printing off the different shirt colors for each badge. I think it turned out to make a nice little display.[/FONT]

    Thanks guys!!! There are 5 with electronics and I have a Mark X science tric coming soon. I can't wait to get that!!

    I love the TOS phaser, makes a great "crapazoid" version

    Yeah I've scanned several actually!!

    The tricorder you are referring to is the Wrath of Kahn tricorder. Also used in other movies/shows as it was a rented prop. Pretty cool and rare tho.

    Glad you guys like the badge display. I thought it turned out pretty neat too.

    What a great collection! Love the trics, the rifles, the badges, the....... Well what everyone else has said!

    Question though. Kahn's pendant, the Starfleet emblem, where did you get that? Is it metal? I have one I ordered from Starlog I believe back in the 80's. Mine is solid brass.

    Again, very nice collection. Oh, if you ever want to sell anything........

    Thanks guys!! I like these alot too! I thought of the badge idea as soon as I got the pins. I wanted to do real fabric but didn't want to fork over the cash for the rubies shirts and then cut them up.

    The starfleet emblem is metal, I believe an old Lincoln piece. It worked well for a Kahn necklace!

    Awsome collection, interesting badge display. I just picked up the blue ray dvd set today with the badges can you share where you obtained the shirt patterns i'd love to do something similar to display them.
