Damn thats amazing. Love the smaller detailed pieces as its something I've always wanted to get into. Looks so clean.

While I like the movie "battle damaged" look, I personally perfer a ring that looks like it just came off the assembly line. The clean lines look better in my opinion and it seems to me it would be more comfortable to wear.
NOW, who is going to be the first to tackle the other concept rings in the book?

You actually SEE the Guardians (Yes, THOSE Guardians!) create the Yellow Power Ring during the course of this movie. It comes out BRAND NEW with that texture on the band. So there is NEVER a time when it looks "newer" than that. There's never a time when it has a smoother band like in the concept images.
There's only 1 problem with the "just made" look in this case...

yeah i could see where that would help more since it will show you exactly how pieces will fit together while designing. after you create your images do you get the 3D printed?

Forgive the varying band textures and colors in each of my renders. I play around with those settings a lot. haha

What materials are you using. I have been in jewelry and specialize in designing pieces for customers. if you are using a material such as white gold or silver you could add a type of antiquing such as what they use with class ring to give it a darker appearance or a black lacquer. It is looking really cool I like the silver though is show is off well.

when you send them off to be printed, how will the colored areas turn out? can they print those sections in a different material or will you make those parts out of resin later?
