I bought the case from a watch kiosk in the shopping mall near me. If you look for a "silver dollar pocket watch" you'll find the right size. That's what I used and then glued the Seal of Rassilon that Megatron made for me onto the front.
    Thank you!

My wife is also an avid knitter... It's her #1 hobby, she goes to fiber festivals with her knitting friends, etc. She loves it!
One of her friends is knitting a Tom Baker scarf, too.

Anyway, you may or may not already know about Ravelry.com, but it's an amazing online resource for knitters! They have patterns, and there is also a massive community for help and support for all things knitting. I'm sure that they could help with questions about patterns.

For what it's worth, at the start of every project my wife always does a test swatch to make sure that the yarn gauge and needle sizes are correct, so that the finished garment ends up being the proper size.
Yes, I know of it. And Etsy. A lot of scarves based on Tara's design and innaccurate colours. None of those scarves are worth as much as they proclaim to be. I have now knitted 24 season 14 scarves with excellent colours and every detail I can spot on the original with reference from what's left of it on the shada, thanks to Christopher Brimelow's website. I wouldn't dream of selling them for as high as $167! Some went as far as $250!!!
Plus the beebs have licensed Lovarzi to make a replica. It's machine-knit and based on the season 12.5 design. Google is your friend, there are pics up already.
Colours aren't bad, The shades are terrible. Completely off.
It's pretty much like the garments you can find on Etsy by googling "Tom Baker scarf".
Just thought I'd bring it up.

    Alright.
If anybody wants to know which watch it was, it was a Buler.
That's the name, just scour eBay and I guess it will eventually be found.

    it's not much...but...

...it's the sonic screwdriver toy that they put out for last season (the one that starts on sci-fi friday)...but for the new season it's what they're using on-screen because it's so much sturdier than what they were using (which broke constantly)...so while yes it's just the licensed toy it's also an exact replica...

i'm hoping to get an original series style one to go with it soon and i'm getting my new series tardis key next week...

i'm also working on some paper props....and if anyone can help it'd be great...does anyone know what font this is or do i have to try to make it photoshop?...

    ...skott

I have a toy sonic screwdriver like that one! Mine functions like a real pen!

About to start a season 18 scarf? That's the one I want to work on next.. Can't remember if I posted mine in this thread but here's my season 12 I made. This was my first attempt at knitting anything & it's twice as long as it's supposed to be, but oh well.

    Very nice Sonics!

I recently successfully bid on two on eBay recently; a spring-loaded working replica of the 4th/5th Sonic and a spring loaded working replica of the 8th Sonic, metal turned, etc.

Very nice too! I did wonder whether Russ was originally responsible for making the two that I bought.

Thank you sir! It kinda annoyed me because I just learned to knit specifically for the scarf & when I started that scarf the website I got the patterns from had the rows double what they currently show them as so it's literally 2X longer than normal. Don't know if I was supposed to know to half the pattern but after I do a season 18 then 15 maybe I'll go back to do a proper 12. Or maybe find patches & turn that one into an unofficial Shada scarf.

I just finished this today. I made it from oak, and pine. It's 9 1/2" tall to the top of the lantern. It does have lights. I put a hole in the bottom, and sanded out the bottom so the cord could run under the bottom of the Tardis from the hole to the back, and the Tardis sits flat. I put a stringer of battery operated led's on the inside. The lights are not on in this photo, I can't take good photos with my camera with the lights on.

That is a gorgeous display. I especially like the way they are lit from underneath like that.

Currently I'm finishing up some detailing on my Russ Brown sonics. I've finished the emitter on my Baker sonic to where I'm happy with it. I think that this is about as accurate as I'm going to get with the Baker sonic and still have sound. The Pertwee is getting closer. I'm still waiting for the 3/4 inch black pin striping tape to arrive and I also ordered the 1/16 inch tape so once those arrive I'll be able to stripe the grip. I did finish the new emitter though. Both the Baker and Pertwee feature smaller emitter rings and the Baker has a custom burgundy powder coat. One thing I'm working out is modding the Pertwee so the activation sleeve comes up higher and the emitter itself will be on an extension a little. It will be tricky to pull off but I think it will be worth it in the end. I didn't modify the McGann at all though XD To the left, the matching keys for each sonic including my precioussssss, my 800-TREKKER key.
