I'm afraid I can't help you on the arms, last thing I've heard the moulds are bust... but you could pm mic and see what he says. The hands came with the arms and both are display only.

I'm sorry, but yep, you missed out. It's a beautiful piece and one of the few licenssed pieces where there is no fanmade version that's ten times better. At least not that I know of...

Plus, unlike most other Sideshow stuff, the price was not to bad.stupid mestupid me.

Saw one for $500 on Ebay a while back but got snagged. Only other one has been at $1,400 forever., It ain't that cool.

You got it all! Quality stuff all expertly displayed. As you well know, sometimes the time it takes to display stuff nicely takes longer than making the prop

Thanks for sharing. It inspires me to get more organization in my display.

I got this poster today... it's a bootleg, and not the best quality print ever, but I think it rounds off the Vader display quite nicely. What do you think?

R2Dan, where'd you get the RD knitted cap? I'd like to rock one of those in the winter time.

It was made for me by a friend. The pattern can be found online, that much I know. She did quite a few of those, but it's been a while...

Ben: Thanks for the praise mate I'm glad people like it as much as I do, means I must have done something right

Edit: Here's Vader with the poster in daylight:

Another small update: 3PO is now golden and dirty to go with my weathered R2

    Cool progress on the 3PO!

Is it chromed and then weathered or all done with paints?
    Anyway...great setup

    It's all painted.

I think I will eventually get him chromed, but for now this finish will do the job nicely I'd say

Wow, the r2 and 3pO need a thread all on their own. Great job on the weathering and paint work for C3pO, care to share wait paint you used for him?

I used chrome paint found in the local DIY store. Nothing too fancy really. It's not a real substitute for chroming, but it'll do for now until I get the funds together to get him finished properly

It was released by Sideshow a few years back. Strictly limited to 600 pieces and tough to track down now. But worth it

Don't be... it's all just the result of dedication/addiction to Star Wars and a good few years of collecting.

I dug out this old pic from 2007, where it all began for me (my first R2 is on that pic, which is where it all started, and a lot of other - amateurishly - selfmade props.

    Not quite as impressive

Fast forward to now and you see where I'm at. All it takes is a mind mad enough to put together a proper tribute to your favourite movie(s)

Amazing, R2Dan you have a fantastic collection, beautifully displayed.

My jealousy of your lifesize C-3PO & R2-D2 knows no bounds,

I have to limit myself to one or 2 props on display in the house at a time, currently a Graflex ESB & a Luke ROTJ Shared stunt sat on top of my wife's piano,

the rest are away in boxes even my new signed vader helmet went straight away

I guess I can't complain my wife puts up with the 17 guitars I have dotted around the house,

maybe I should have 1 hobby at a time, maybe not
