There are two builds linked in my signature.
I don't know if it counts but I have one of these;

Erhm - Dudes? Cant you see it? I mean, it nearly jumps into your face.
In the center of this "Replica" you can easily see Van Goghs Starry Night.
I mean, how cant you see it?! Am I the only one?
BUSTED!
Replica tie fighter laser blast. The freakin' thing is damn hard to keep in the display case. It keeps getting out and bounces around my prop room.
DOH! That's what I've been doing wrong! Here I was trying to reflect the beam using a case built out of shaving mirrors. Only to find that apparently Spaceballs and Superman II movie makers have no idea what they are talking about. Take it from someone who knows first hand folks, high powered laser beams just melt the mirrors.
Next thing you know you've got a dead pet iguana, kid missing an eye, scorch marks all over your house, and a burnt smell you can't explain away to your guests as "cedar potpourri"
I am really disappointed in some of you... All the guy wanted was some finished project pics, and instead ya'll waisted two pages on BS, except for the R2... that was awesome!... I'm building one, myself. We are supposed to be here to help each other. And if the guy is smart enough to turn on his computer, I'm sure he could figure out how to look thrue a bunch of threads... but that isn't what he wanted. And I can't blame him. I have spent hours looking at nothing but star wars threads and I haven't even scratched the surface. We are all here, together, for a reason. Play nice, children!

Oh, c'mon...it's only a little leg pulling!
There must be HUNDREDS of SW props, etc on here......
Rich
The comments are just as much making fun of some of the mentality surrounding props around here.
Seriously, if members started filling up this thread with pictures of their Star Wars props and costumes, the thread would seem endless. There is just so much, especially when it comes to lightsabers and blasters -- where every conceivable variation has been built at least once. It would have been easier if the thread author had asked to limit the scope a bit.
We are here to help each other. After a while you'll understand why the forum is arranged the way it is. This isn't a star wars forum, it's a replica prop forum. GeekStation shouldn't just start a thread and say "post your star wars props" in this thread without giving some sort of criteria. It would end up being an overwhelming, unorganized thread that defeats the purpose of "helping others" who are looking for specific things. Is he expecting that everyone who has any sort of star wars prop, whether big or small just start posting pictures? In my years of being here, that never ever works. Most threads that start with "show your props here...." usually end up with seasoned members responding "you first."
In doing a search, you'll already find a "lifesize star wars props" thread that has been greatly contributed to. That's because, as general as that is, it at least gives some sort of criteria to what the poster is looking for.
Plus, while spending hours in searching is commendable, please keep in mind that many people have spent years looking through these threads. Not just a member for years, but actually on this forum, contibuting and reading for years. It took you hours to go through star wars prop threads that you found, and as you stated, you barely scratched the surface. Imagine how insane it would be if everyone posted their star wars stuff in one giant thread, and how unmanageable it would be for new members to find specific things.
As stated above, if what you were going for is for every member to post pics any sort of star wars prop they have on your thread, it's not going to happen unless you limit your criteria a bit and give the thread a purpose other than to satisfy your curiosity.
Again - we're not trying to be mean. At least I'm not. We really could help you or point you in the right direction. You just have to tell us what that direction is.

Nothing against the OP but it would have been easier and he would've gotten better results if he did a specific search plus I have a COA to go with my prop of the force :![]()
First, the sand thing was very funny,
Second, the Force thing was even funnier,
Third, you can see the high end part of my collection at the link in my signature,
Fourth, welcome to therpf. It's a strange little community with it's own rules of etiquette that are often very hard to understand when you are new, but it's a great place with lots of great people that will be happy to help.
Believe it or not Google Images is the best way to find stuff, even on here. More often than not if I am looking for something specific or just want to browse props Google images finds it fast and more often than not it sends me here. I don't know why but I have had better luck using that to search here than the search feature here. Although that works great as well.
I have managed to tick off a few people here due to lack of forum understanding.
It's like that really cool Uncle you had who was amazing and fun and had this incredible life, but was always a little,..off.
Again, welcome.
BTW whenever you ask for help on any forum the first response you will get is some form of, "Have you tried searching?"
So start every request with, "I have already searched high and low but have had no luck. I was wondering if anyone could help me find bla bla bla." It helps.
Obviously only do this if you have actually done the search. Otherwise if you are asking for something really easy to find and just being lazy the response will not be good.
Being one of the new guys here, I have not yet gained a perspective of how large and old the collection on therpf must truly be, so thank-you for the perspective check. A general thread collection of that magnitude COULD become a Charlie Foxtrot in no time flat... and the idea to use google images to find a specific type of prop or model is a fantastic idea. I do it all the time; from pepakura models to studio scale models, to life-size models, references, ect. On the other foot, all you old-timers might benefit from understanding how confusing and overwhelming such a large collection could seem to us younglings. Patience and understanding is expected from the new guys, but the veterans should lead by example. BTW, Thank-you all for such a wonderful compendium of various media and resources. It is truly an honer to be among some of you. I know there are members here who are self-taught, and then there are members here who have been working in their field, professionaly, for decades. Thank-you!![]()
So...is there going to be a run of the Dark Side Force example or not?
Not really a prop, but Star Wars related though, I got one of these back in January, and flew it all the way back home (Australia) with me on the plane.
