Show me your Star Wars Props!

I am itching to get started on a project, and I need some inspiration! Show me your homemade Star Wars Props/Costumes!

replica sand from tatooine. I know there are some nit-pickers out there who can spot which grains of sand are out of place... but I worked hard on this and I'm damn proud.







(I do think that it would be better if you "searched" for your inspiration. We have a bunch of star wars prop threads going on already)

is that ANH sand or ROTJ sand? looks like ANH to me but not positive.

That scar is painted. It only looks 3d because of the way the studio lights reflect off of it.

Are you sure? I have a McQuarrie concept drawing around here somewhere...

You guys are kidding, right? The sheen of that sand clearly screams recast to me.

It's a very cool idea to get everyone to post a pic of their star wars project in one thread. I had the same idea not too long ago, but got distracted. I hope some people finally start posting pics, instead of maintaining that sand gag. Funny, but anti-topical. I would like to see some work from other people, too. Not everyone has all day to rummage thrue 300+ topics to find everything they are looking for. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm kinda enjoying the sand debate as well...haha!

I say ROTJ on the sand. It looks like Leia's butt print there. Is that a SS kit?

I agree with the ROTJ sand but I think this bit is from the Special Edition ROTJ. It's the stuff that was cleverly CGI'd, right beside the Sarlacc Pit.

You are all wrong it is clearly sand from Jaws.

That sand is recast and I should know. I made the original pile.
