Anyone know what this is? (my friends, you don't count).

What is this object, and what does it do? If you have one, could you post a pic?

The epitomy of scratch-built sabers, I call it.

Ahh, the shoulder puller. A device used to 'pull' the bulges that exist around the graflex glass eye. Very useful on a sink-tube or scratch build of a Luke ANH saber, or Vader ROTJ saber.

I've got one, I believe they were originally offered by a board member by the name of 'honeck', or something similar.

I used to have one of those until I loaned it to another member here several years ago and that's the last I saw of it.

    Here are some pics:

    Pretty neat deelie-bob.

was this a scratch-built tool or something pre-existing for another purpose? I was trying to get one for years...

Not to toot my own horn, but I helped Dana design it and scouted some machinists locally until we found Honeck to do it. Still have mine that I've used exactly twice and still works like a champ. It may be for sale if the right offer came around. It's more a piece of RPF history now with all the amazing replicas out there, but it worked wonderfully on my aluminum graflex blank I made for my ROTJ Vader.

so, I passed it on to another member.
