has anyone heard the possible rumor of Sharper Image acquiring the LFL Prop license that Master Replica now holds in Jan 08.
Someone mentioned that to me that they were who LFL was going with once MR was finished...that is if MR is truely not renewing their license...
Well MR have announced that they are not doing the X Wing they had planned because they will not have time nby the end of the year when their license runs out so that would seem like a good sign that they are not renewing.
Also they are now part of Corgi so different corporate strategy and all that...

That would really surprise me.
The Sharper Image is a specialty retailer rather than a manufacturer. I seriously doubt they have any licensing plans. They're just a middleman. Here's more information on the company:

Yes - they don't actually make anything. Sharper Image sometimes carries and sells props, etc. They sold Icons stuff even back in the day. I still think MR will get the license back at some point.
Does MR actually make anything, I thought it was all out sourced to contractors?
Didnt SI sell some FX sabers a while back?
I remember back in the day when they sold that 1:1 Xwing!
