Season 1 BSG Blaster

Was there ever anything official put out giving the BSG Season 1 Blaster a name?

What about giving it an appropriate name commensurate to the Greek, Roman, and Egyptian influences in the show. Throw some numbers and letters in there too...like M7 (totally random)

I liked that version( wish they kept it ). Now they just started adding the bit on the bottom to normal guns. Regular guns just don&#39;t cut it for me in a sci-fi show.
