To echo the last 4 pages of comments, fabulous, original work, and excellent execution.

I particularly like the lazored spinal columns and tentacles. They give a really compelling effect that's simultaneously very organic and very mechanical. =)

Any updates on what you're doing these days, either with this project or something new?
I still produce them should I get requests, and I am thinking about making smaller ones of smaller animals, like bugs or frogs and fish, something of that nature. I didn't do as much promotion for these like I should have, I'd like to put them on etsy and see how they do, but I wanted to get better photos first. I just bought a new DSLR so I should hop to it.

Beyond that, prop wise, I've kept busy making proton gun kits, doing concept illustrations and building a few weapons for a sci-fi film, and scattered between it all I've been working on the Aperture Science Handheld Portal Device from Portal.

smaller ones would be probably more affordable. I still admire the idea and the result of your work and how the fossils turned out

Dude, you're going to lose these or sell them and eventually they'll get thrown away and then dug up again in several thousands of years and you're going to confuse the **** out of mankind, or whoever is the dominant species at the time.

    Outstanding work my friend!

I thought about going to some parks and planting some concrete ones randomly in the woods and see what happens.

Just gorgeous! The photos and the little peeks into your technique and execution are so inspiring, thanks so much for taking the time to share!

I'd be interested to see the sapien fossil broken down into its skeletal elements like the rest of the animals... but the face is so serene, it adds a nice sense of romance to the series.

I forgot to mention how much I love the digital paintings you made to map out size and proportions... I'd be happy with just those hanging on my wall

Do it, and then tell me where you planted them and I'll tell you exactly what would happen. I'd come steal them.

Thanks for the nightmares I'm going to have tonight because of your avatar by the way.

Still amazing on the 4th or 5th view

Was thinking of trying something like this for some comic book props like an Iron Man mask or part of a Cap shield but can't work out the logistics in my head on how to do the stone matrix part.

    Awesome work man.

Well I'm sure the quality of your work is reflective in the price so art collectors would probably be your best bet. I would love to have one of these but doubt I could afford it.

Regardless as EVERYONE has said you're not only a master craftsman but an artist with vision and the work you've shown here proves it beyond any doubt!

I agree with everyones sentiments. I remember being impressed when they were originally posted - they certainly don't lose anything on the second viewing. Inspirational work - well done.
