I finally registered with the RPF, and thought I would share my handmade Nazgul gauntlets.
Materials:
1 sheet of thin metal from Home Depot
Brass paper brads
1 pair of old gloves
Glue
I cut each piece out with tin snips, took about a week from start to finish.
Awesome ! Now beat the crap out of them to get rid of the "brand new" look and you'll have an amazing replica !
Those are great Rich! I agree with Mr. K, a little "weathering" is in order
They look great. Weathering will definitely seal the deal. But they are sweet. I have big hands, it would take 2 sheets of metal to make a set for me lol.
Thanks, I made them for a Nazgul Halloween costume a few years ago. Trying to hold a plastic cup of beer is a challenge while wearing them.
I want to beat them up a little and somehow tarnish them to give them a used look. I would also love to try making a Witch King helm using the same simple materials.
Those are fantastic! Did you create a paper pattern to cut from initially or did you free-hand it. Is the metal aluminum or steel?

Hi Rich, how did you connect each different segments on the fingers to the glove? an amazing peice of work, iv thought of creating those gloves by using coca cola cans :]
