Question for the stormtrooper helmet experts.....

Hello all,


I would like to know if someone could please explain to me if Shepperton helmets are based on the originals, and if they are the more accurate helmets you can buy.

Also, i would like to know how many Stormtrooper helmet makers/creators are, and place them in an accuracy list by order.

The SDS faceplate most likely has some lineage to the real deal, notice I say lineage as I personally don't believe for one second they come from the original molds IMO more than likely from new molds derived from existing pulls he might have had laying around or access to, and again IMO the back and cap are a hack job with little to no lineage or so far removed from any original that it doesn't matter...

But then there are others that will parade his helmets as the next best thing to sliced bread from the original molds...

But, there is one thing for certain Andrew Ainsworth is a perpetual liar that thinks he and his one man army created everything in the Star Wars universe, it's not beyond him to stoop so low as to blatantly steal credit from a deceased artist who can no longer defend her work... So think long and hard and take everything he says with a big grain of salt, his story will change to whatever best fits his bottom line at that time...

I know nothing about Stormtrooper armor and none of those suits on the main page look accurate at all...

Now I know not to use a replica stormtrooper armor as a protection against earthquakes and hurricanes...
