"Firefly Talk" just posted a cool interview with the Geoff Mandel (graphic designer, Serenity) and Tim Earls (illustrator, Firefly; set designer, Serenity), and Andy Gore (QMx). They talk in detail about the upcoming Serenity Blueprints... including the trials and tribulations of fitting a square peg (the insides of the ship) into a round hole (the outside of the ship).
