I figured it was one of yours too, based on the hollow body for the electronics. When I bought it, I didn't think it was a recast, although when I received it, it seemed fairly obvious because of the rough casting.

Nice build up its a shame raygun isnt still around he used to make a great metal upgrade kit for that gun but there again if i had the money i would buy one of the new licensed ones
In some ways its almost a compliment that someone would go to all the trouble of recasting my work lol
    Cheers

Hollywood Collectibles has hinted that they will be making a licensed set of stones.

Here is a link to their web site if you are not familiar with them.

Part of my 5Th Element Costume group from 2004. I still own 3 of the Mangalore costumes, and the "Gimme-Da-Cash Guy" costume with rifle, unfortunately we sold the Zorg costume and ZF-1 replica right after the convention to a collector. The Two girls own their costumes.

Maybe I need to take some Studio Shots of these costumes and props, eh?

The only places I've found them commercially available (retail) are in Europe:

    http://www.themonstercompany.co.uk/p....php?xProd=355

    AND...

    https://spaceart.de/index.htm?Artikel/fel001.shtml

Hopefully the Hollywood Collectibles versions will be available soon (and more affordable than their European counterparts) as I don't have the $400-$900 to spend on the ones pictured above. Which makes me wonder if there a current source for the four replica stones in the USA?

    Thanks,
    oldzey

I am also looking for the stones.. are they screen accurate? It's alot of greenbacks for them. I am more for those made of sandstone. Can someone also help point me to the right direction? Just want to avoid having to upgrade later.

By the way, the ones from themonstercompany are made of resin aren't they? That's what I read from the item description at their website and ebay.

Can anyone confirm whether the stones from 'The monster company' are accurate?
Has anyone dealt with this company?

    Thanks in advance.

I can't speak for the accuracy of The Monster Company's stones, but I did buy a Hellraiser Cube from them (made of solid painted resin), which is a nice piece that I'm happy with. Darth Clouds is correct that the stones are also made of painted resin and that they're sold on eBay, in addition to their online store (~$400 including shipping to the USA). You'll have to play around with the eBay search settings a little bit to find them (show all, eBay stores, search for "fifth element stones").

And Zorg is indeed correct that the SpaceArt stones are made of carved sandstone and are a limited edition. That's probably why their price is over double that of TMC's (but they sure are cool). Wish I had the cake to afford either set...

    Regards,

    Thanks for the reply, oldzey.
I have to say the SpaceArt stones look fantastic. Produced from sandstone and limited to a mere 25, makes them very desirable. Though they are a little pricey.

I'm not certain as to what route to take. I may wait for the upcoming HCG set. Although they are a reproduction of the smaller set, at least they will be screen accurate.
