I am looking for a picture of the Elvish ("Tengwar") inscription on The One Ring. Not the ring, but the full inscription, so that I could print it myself.
I noticed that there are slight differences in the script from the printed book to the ring in the movies.
The movie inscription is cleaned up and prints better. I would really like the movie version, if only that it is the movie version.
I am certain that it could be found on tonnes of promotional material, only that .. I don't have any anymore.

I have googled for a while now, but with no luck so far.
Does anyone have a good scan of it?

Someone posted a template inscription online a few years back - believe it was the movie version. Can't remember If I still have it somewhere. I'll look around... see what I can find. Otherwise... good luck in your search.

No. That is a scan from the book and not the movie version.

I come to think, maybe some book about the film could have it?

awesome, ive been looking for this forever, not for a prop, but for wrist tattoos, i plan on getting them done in blacklight ink, so they are invisible under normal conditions, and then have them show up under blacklight with a glow around it..... i never even thought to ask here !!

any chance you have a higher res version?

Of course, the script in higher resolution would be better.
The diacritic mark above some of the letters is actually not one blob, but three dots in a triangle. Because the writing is in a cursive style, they are done as downward strokes. This detail gets lost a little bit in this picture.

I have two tattoos done in blacklight ink, one on the muscle between my thumb and forefinger and one just below the center of my throat.

Some things you need to know if you're going to do this: It can still leave some scarring, but something this small shouldn't be a problem. And, there's only one color of ink that is invisible under normal circumstances. It glows a bluish color under blacklight.

arg, see thats what i wasnt sure about, i knew the blue glowed(glew?) under black light but wasnt visible, but i wasnt sure about the other colors, i was hoping for the blueish text, with a red "glow" around it

Yup. Only the white ink/blue glow is "invisible" when seen under normal light. All the other colors will have varying degrees of visibility in normal lighting conditions. And if I may say, the colors aren't that attractive in their dormant state. The appeal is the blacklight glow color, which I admit is very cool. But you have to consider the other 99.9% of your life.

Speaking of which, if you live a life where people are going to be overly sensitive about your appearance (which I'm going to go out on a limb and say they will be, since you're very concerned about this), you also have to factor in a few weeks' worth of healing time. Immediately after you get it done, you're going to have a visible wound in the shape of the tattoo. Healing time will depend on your own metabolism as well as how you take care of it.

well i really could care less about all that, i work in a factory, where appearance really dosent matter, the only reason i was concerned about it being completly invisible under normal light, was becuase it would look retarded to be able to see the "glow" under normal light, but not the text, i want it completly invisible under normal light for the wow factor, ithat makes sense

Oh, I totally get it. I got the two I have for basically the same reason, though I only really get to see them when I'm in a mall and I wander into Spencer's Gifts.
