This is about 10 or 11 years old. This design was a collaboration of many members providing input. Once designed, one member (who?) made blank and were finished by the individual members.
Here are the plans that were posted to the old forum (the control part and its recess area are on the plans nor is the control strip) by another member (who?).
First I finished it like this:
It was a clean paint job, nice shiney metal.
I always wanted to try and make the saber look more weathered. The lightsaber in the story was old and passed down from another jedi. I stripped all the paint off this one and redid the entire thing with aluminum black. The only paint on it is the copper neck.
