hi i am thinking about creating nite owls laser but am not sure about sizes or materials i am thinking about sculpting one out of clay and then making a mould painting it and finishing it up with metal details here is a picture of the laser

i am quite good with electronics so i will probably make it light up but i might put a burning laser pointer in the end.so let me know what you all think

Nite Owl's laser a pretty cool prop. You might be able to make it out of MDF if you dont want to sculpt it. Good luck with your build, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

You might be able judge the size roughly from a screen shot of note owl using it. Or you could use the zippo as reference if it's a standard zippo

The button itself might be good size reference too if it's a standard button size!

i have just been gathering all the materials i am going to do the main body out of mdf i think ill do the handle grip out of nylon and the other black parts out of moulded plastic. i was looking for paints and i found a copper spray with a hammered effect which i think looks awesome but the original prop has a smooth finish to it so ill probably buy the smooth finish one . i have got a clear tube for the light up part on the sides of the body but am wondering weather or not to make it out of a green pipe for display let me know what you all think and i am going to make the stand out of clear acrylic and the base of that a blood splutterer smiley i will keep you all updated with progress.
