New guy w/ another Captain America Mask

This looks awesome! Not to keep badger you with the question (I didn't see an answer, really), but are you doing a full-fledged run on these? If so, I'd love to know the price!

Received my raw cast today!



Can't wait to start on it. It's a very clean cast, so not a whole lot of work needed... Just some minor sanding and filling, then paint! I'll be doing the leather work myself as well. Great job on these, Bobby. Top notch. And shipping was ridiculously quick!

Alright, here is my final version. It has gone through many transformations and this is it. I lowered the sides a bit to fit the ear sections better and rolled the back of the helmet out a bit more. Thanks for following me on this project and hope to get out my new improved final product for you guys to see soon.

Actually did a little sanding today and shot some primer on it. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to do a little spot puttying (that is, if the little guy doesn't come before then!)

Awesome man!! I've got 5yo boy girl twins and it adds a whole different angle to your focus but it is so fun. Now I can just blame it on them . "Yeah.... my daughter NEEDS to go see ________ (enter any of the Avengers here)!" There's nothing better than seeing her (notice I keep saying "her," my son's too busy vacuuming ) running around with her Capt helmet on holding her Mjolnir!! It's so much fun!!!

Funny that you mention that, my oldest had Thor's helmet and hammer and my youngest had Cap's face mask and frisbee shield. I found it hilarious that they both wanted to be heroes, oh and both love IRON MAN....go figure.

I'm just glad I opted for the soft head hammer! My son and I would be dead by now!! Before I started making these helmets I started a little mini TFA helmet for my daughter, but sadly it was shelved for "the cause." When I make some respectable progress on it, I'll post it up on here. Hopfully her little melon hasn't out grown it... Oh man... a little three piece Ironman helmet!?! You know scaled down but movie accurate!!! That would be awesome. Might just be a niche on here for that. I know Kevin will be needing something like that very soon for little "noobie" Parker

Kevin, here is a little sample of what you have to look forward to. This is where I got with my little girl's helmet in between "Big Kid" projects. She's such a little trooper. I guess I'll finish it off for her tomorrow w/ the "A" and wings...

Rob, the pics of your helmet are amazing. When do you think the leatherwork will be finished. I noticed you have about 12 helmets done, very nice.

I'm going to try and knock out the leather work towards the end of this week and next week. Just put up a quick run of 5 raw casts in the JY to try and fund the finishing up of this "completed helmet" run. Hang in there Deacon, this round is going pretty smooth, so far...
