A wee suggestion if I may - pad / raise the shoulders and the upper body + torso. He needs to be more robust / macho.

EXACTLY! Really great display but you could make it unbelievable!

Here is a close up of his face before it was mounted on the mannequin.

The body on the mannequin is muscular & Arnold is not really that huge like a Ronnie Coleman body type.

Looks great! The positioning of the arm holding the gun looks a bit akward to me though - I think maybe the elbow needs to come out from the body more or the wrist needs straightened.

Got any shots of the bust without the glasses on? Would love to see how you've done the eyebrows...

I padded him up a little bit more but where I have the display currently located I can not get well lit pics.


This version of Arnold I did not include eyebrows because I wanted them to be burnt off. ( I know how much of a pain hairing eyebrows on resin can be so I am lucky on this display)
I am happy with the pose & do not want to modify the mannequin anymore because getting his jacket on was a real pain & in person it looks natural.

Getting the gun in the hand & using that type of glove was a lot of work.

that is brilliant work mate, really looks the part, the paintjob and hairwork are top notch, that last shot looks like Arnie is real and standing there!

I couldn't agree more. The positioning of the arms are too close to his body. In the grand scope of things that's a pretty simple fix. I think that we can agree that of all the lifesize pieces people make, if the face/head isn't spot on everything below the neck is a fail. The head is the most important part. In your case the very best part. I can't recall too many other convincing Arnie's out there.

The gun arm needs to be moved a bit but the last picture looks the biz. If you sort the arm out it will be a lot better. I like it a lot. Looks great

Yup agreed. I think if you turn the gun hand a little to the left looking front on. Make it look a little more natural. But hey awesome work

The hand can be rotated at the wrist to display the gun straight up but I wanted to see the side of the gun while it was being displayed.

The gun itself was a real pain to replicate & my hats off to all the gun prop makers on this forum as it is not as easy as it looks.

I beefed him up under the jacket & took a better pic with a flash because of the poor lighting.

I was originally going to do a T2 display but had changed my mind as I really love the iconic look of the first movie with the spiked hair , gargoyles & 45 longslide.

It was a really fun build & hopefully it encouraged other Terminator/Schwarzenegger diehard fans to attempt a Terminator lifesize display for their collection.

Cool, i hope to do one myself in the coming months and ill definately be using your pics for referenvce Monteburns, Great job

I agree with you on the iconic look of the first film. Your build has actually inspired me to build my own as well!
