I think I'm correct in saying that is absolutely the BEST predator costume aside from the screen used one . Nice Andrew!

    Wow! That's an incredible suit!

The only critique I could make is it looks like the boot covers don't extend all the way down. It's a small thing, considering how fantastic the other 99% appears.

    Yes
i should have mentioned it was a test fitting to see what tweaks were needed, yes the lower leg armor wll be "tucked" underneath. and there are additional pieces that will be attached to the suit

and howard gotta give it up to you and your latest creations Sparrow,elvis...the P2 opps sorry not yet...lol

    thanks muchachos

I'm not sure why you refer to it as an elder suit but it looks good enough to be used in the next AVP movie.

the paint scheme on the suit is painted in the style of the elder seen at the end of predator 2.

I'm definately impressed with that suit. The only thing I would have done diferently would be to make the color of the armor a little farther from the color of the body so that it stands out better. Other than that VERY MINOR thing, I think it looks fantastic. I especually like the shading on the bio helm, brings out the shape perfectly!

Top class all the way on that suit... I think there are 3 levels a costume can be clasifyed at... 20 foot, 10 foot, and 3 foot. Basicly that means it looks great from that distance but if you get closer you start to see flaws or inpefections... you passed the 3 foot mark in my book bro... I love it!

How tall are you by the way??

I am 5'11" but with the lifts i made for the suit and the lifts inside the headpiece i'm at 6'6"

i think of myself as kevin peter halls smaller cousin.

you should see the veining on this piece..larry kidd who painted it for me put about 4 layers of veining into the piece. it will pass the 3 inch mark if you get close to it

thanks for all the feedback guys and gals,

as i mentioned on another board, we work on our props and costumes in our hobby shops and basements for months and years on end...it very cool to bring them out and show off the hard work that is put in them and have you appreciate the artistry that goes into them

props to allot of folks who helped me larry kidd on the paint, sandy collora and nick alvarez on the sculpt davidyr1 and even the blades were done ala hangar 18 studios. scott paige/brian healy... the other elements were done by yours truly

it's those people who insipre me to take this stuff to the next level.
