The AA helmet is the least accurate especially for $800.
If you are in the US you can't buy the AA anyway, its illegal to sell to the US.
You can do better from other suppliers on accuracy and price. It also depends on what your looking for, as the MR/EFX is fiberglass and although its a nice display piece, may not have all the screen accuracy that the plastic vacu-formed helmets have.
Also, it depends on which MR. There are some symmetrical models that are obviously not accurate because the originals were asymmetrical. The symmetrical ones tended to look more narrow in appearance. Further, the AA/SDS always struck me as distorted.
Get an AP trooper helmet for less than half of what the SDS costs and it looks 5X better!
Excuse my ignorance but is the EFX the same as the MR?
You should look here
The various types of armor and where to find them

Its a 'stunt' style helmet kit,but you can make a hero out of it. He's also occasionally offered a discount for kits that had 'minor defects'
Here's mine with the same kit.
oh,you'll want to upgrade the mic tips and rubber parts that came with the kit though.
There are many alternatives.....TM,TE, TE2, AP and you really cant go wrong with each of them. Also the prices for such helmets are low at the moment....way cheaper than a MR/eFX and way more accurate.
You guys rock!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for all the great info.
How do these helmets stack up against each other in the world of trooping, i wanted a shepperton lid but have been told that they are somewhat Fragile!!!
You will want to skip the Shepperton lid. Many other better choices.
The SDS is crap. You'd be best off getting one from RS Props.
Is there still debate to whether the AA helmets were infact made from the studio molds?

My bad. Missed the 'hero' part.
