MR Darth Maul LE? Confirmation/Restoration Help

I recently purchased what I *believe* is a MR Darth Maul LE off of ebay for what I *believe* was a steal. Saber has the MR copyright on the emitter dated 2003. The Saber came in the long MR box with the blue foam cut to the right dimensions, although there was no paperwork or plaque (as stated in the auction.) The Saber also came with a Master Replica Display without an acrylic cover, which from what I can see wouldn’t have been able to fit into the Master replica box.

On another Note, the O rings on the saber are badly cracked or entirely missing. I found a thread on replacing them with hardware parts but there was no definite answer as to size and/or success.

1. Can anyone provide any insight as to weather I have an LE or possibly a SE Saber. Without the plaque it may not matter…. But I may sleep more soundly knowing the truth!

2. Did MR provide any sort of Display stand with this saber? (Possibly in a separate box as I see no way the one I received could have fit in the MR box the saber came in)

3. Would anyone like to share a few pics of their LE Maul for my restoration? (Did a search but couldn’t find the detail I needed) Looking for detail on the location of the rubber rings.

4. Has anyone had any success with replacing the above mentioned rubber o rings? If so… your knowledge would be greatly appreciated!

This link is to a SE saber basiclly the same with a different plaque.
Any hardware store has O rings that will work with this saber. It was a common problem with these and has been discussed in detail on Rebelescum.com
The stand came packed seperatly and was small and without a cover as seen in the above pics.
Do a search of threads on Rebelscum.com and you can get the exact measurements for the O rings you need.
It is a cheap fix

Thanks a lot, your photos cleared up a lot of my questions. The SE has “signature edition” written all over the display box and the emitter...Should have guessed that….

I’m going to try to find the info on RS but I always seem to have a tough time finding exactly what I’m looking for on that site. Whenever I look for a specific I get distracted and forget what I’m doing.

Once/If I find the info I will post it here for anyone else who may be looking for a replacement. In the mean time if anyone for some reason knows off the top of their head I would appreciate the help!

Also, anyone willing to part with their Plaque and COA I would be willing to purchase. *Sorry if this is a no no but I can’t post in the JY yet.
