Forgive me if it's been posted(used the search, but nothing came up), but has anyone replicated or identified the atmospheric masks Han used in the asteroid cave?
Looking to buy or build one to go with a Han solo display
Thanks!

That's a digital image...right? How accurate is the tank? The rest looks off.

That looks amazing vos!
What did you use for the tank?
I never got round to building the tank before i sold the breather with the ESB costume.
I think it would be too big to go inside your Falcon...![]()
Ha what a great prop idea, I'd never thought of getting one of these to go with a Han costume before, now the idea is planted for when I do my ESB Han in the future:P
How cool!
I always wondered why they didn't hemmorage, explode, freeze, or boil since they were basically going into space in that scene.
Well, since you can hear all the ships, I think we have to assume the whole dang galaxy has atmosphere...![]()
For the tank & hose, I'm going to take a wild guess and suggest looking at '60s-'70s era fighter jet/aircraft O2 systems. The mask looks like a hospital mask. I want to stress that I have no intel to base these off of, just a wild guess.
The mask was a hospital nebuliser mask...the tubing was from the same source...just not the modern slimmer tubing. If I remember correctly, I used 22mm flexitube.....I think.

This is the type of scuba mask I got the strap from:

I have obtained the non-rebreather and can score the hose. There is a rubber seal of sorts between the mask and user I have not identified. The tank is a bugger to ID.
I started one of these years ago. Never got very far. Maybe some better screencaps from an HD source will help? Last time I looked at the mask ESB was only available in SD.
