Hello all! A few months back I posted a pic of an illuminated carbon freeze chamber base. Here is a pic of it:
This one was made of wood and did not allow you to place a figure directly on the surface, the figure had to be supported on pipes over top of the base since any weight on the surface would cause the base to sag.
Well I have come up with a new way of making the bases now, out of metal! Below are 2 pics of the base out of metal, they need to be painted and the orange tinted plexi applied however any figure can be made to stand on it!
I weigh 170 pounds and this will easily hold 3 or 4 times that weight! The metal is 3/16" gauge steel. It does weight quite a bit but I can pick it up by myself.
