I was just on MR's site and this is the latest message in their forum from Tom as of 03/03/09.

I'm sad I missed the preorder date, hopefully there will still be some around for me when they all get released. They look pretty nice from what I've seen so far, though nothing compared to a Federation Surplus or Hyperdyne Labs model.

If MR does not end up making them you could get one from Rod.Com. You can not get much more accurate than made by the same guys that did the originals.
I know they are more expensive but I bet they are hard to beat.
I hope to grab one too after I see the one my freinds getting.
Can we get some good photos from one of the members who got theirs? The comments I've read so far in different prop forums are mixed.

I did, I saw it was March and didn't read the year. I was got worried b/c I thought maybe this version is now sold out.
